At The Luxury Ride, we understand that plans can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the rules and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and booking changes for our chauffeur-driven luxury car rental services across India.
By booking a vehicle with The Luxury Ride or making an advance/token payment, you agree to the terms mentioned below.
1. BOOKING CONFIRMATION & TOKEN AMOUNT
A booking is considered confirmed only when:
- The customer pays the advance/token amount, and
- The Luxury Ride confirms the booking via call/WhatsApp/SMS/email.
The token/advance amount is collected to reserve the vehicle for your booking date and time.
2. CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation charges depend on the type of booking and time of cancellation.
A) Cancellation Before 72 Hours
If the booking is cancelled more than 72 hours before pickup time:
- Token amount may be refundable after deduction of processing charges (if applicable).
B) Cancellation Within 48 to 72 Hours
If the booking is cancelled between 48 to 72 hours before pickup time:
- Up to 50% of the token amount may be deducted.
C) Cancellation Within 24 to 48 Hours
If the booking is cancelled between 24 to 48 hours before pickup time:
- Up to 75% of the token amount may be deducted.
D) Cancellation Within 24 Hours (Last-Minute Cancellation)
If the booking is cancelled within 24 hours of pickup time:
- 100% token amount will be non-refundable.
3. SAME DAY CANCELLATION / NO SHOW
If the customer cancels on the same day, or does not arrive at pickup location (No Show):
- No refund will be provided.
- Full booking amount may be charged in certain cases depending on vehicle dispatch and driver allocation.
4. WEDDING & EVENT BOOKINGS (SPECIAL POLICY)
Luxury wedding car rentals and event bookings require special preparation, vehicle reservation, and schedule blocking.
For the following booking types:
- Wedding Entry Bookings
- Destination Wedding Packages
- VIP Event Movement
- Pre-Wedding Shoots
- Celebrity / High-Profile Bookings
Token amount is strictly non-refundable once booking is confirmed.
5. PEAK SEASON & FESTIVAL BOOKINGS
During peak seasons (wedding season, festivals, holiday rush, New Year, etc.) demand is extremely high.
For peak season bookings:
- Token amount is usually non-refundable.
- Cancellation charges may be higher depending on the vehicle category and booking date.
6. REFUND POLICY
Refunds are processed only if applicable under the above cancellation terms.
If your booking qualifies for a refund:
- Refund will be processed within 5 to 10 working days.
- Refund will be made through the original payment method (UPI/Bank Transfer).
Processing time may vary depending on bank and payment gateway delays.
7. BOOKING MODIFICATION / RESCHEDULE POLICY
Customers may request booking rescheduling depending on vehicle availability.
Reschedule Before 48 Hours
If rescheduling is requested before 48 hours:
- We will try to adjust the booking at no extra cost (subject to availability).
Reschedule Within 48 Hours
If rescheduling is requested within 48 hours:
- Rescheduling is subject to vehicle availability.
- Additional charges may apply depending on demand and schedule changes.
8. REFUND NOT APPLICABLE CASES
Refund will not be applicable in the following cases:
- Customer cancels within 24 hours
- Customer does not show up at pickup location
- Customer refuses to travel after vehicle dispatch
- Booking is confirmed for wedding/event category
- Booking is confirmed during peak season and marked non-refundable
- Customer misbehaves with driver or violates service rules
- Customer provides incorrect pickup details leading to trip cancellation
- Customer fails to make pending payment as per agreement
9. CANCELLATION BY THE LUXURY RIDE
In rare cases, if The Luxury Ride cancels a booking due to unavoidable circumstances such as:
- Vehicle breakdown
- Major technical issue
- Natural disaster
- Government restrictions
- Safety concerns
We will provide:
- A similar replacement vehicle (subject to availability), OR
- Refund of the token amount (as per case).
10. PAYMENT DISPUTES
If any customer raises a false dispute or chargeback after booking confirmation:
- The Luxury Ride reserves the right to take legal action.
- Service access may be blocked permanently.
11. DAMAGE & CLEANING CHARGES
If the vehicle is damaged or interior is spoiled during the trip due to customer actions:
- The customer will be liable to pay repair/cleaning charges.
- No refund will be provided in such cases.
12. IMPORTANT NOTE (CUSTOMER AGREEMENT)
By paying the token amount, the customer confirms that:
- They agree to The Luxury Ride’s cancellation and refund terms.
- Token amount is paid to reserve the luxury vehicle for the selected date/time.
- Booking schedule is blocked and cannot be allotted to another customer.
